Red Crescent in Sana’a inaugurates restoration, rehabilitation works of 7 schools

The branch of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society in Sana’a province has inaugurated the works of a project to restore and rehabilitate 7 schools in a number of districts of the province.

The restoration and rehabilitation came as part of the project to reduce risks and improve access to education, funded by the German Red Cross.

In coordination with the Education Office in Sana’a, the project aims to restore and rehabilitate the schools of “al-Yarmouk, Beit Na’ama, Omar al-Mukhtar in al-Khasmah area Bani Matar district, al-Thawra in al-Ar area, al-Farouq in Iblas in Hamdan district, al-Salam in Saref area, al-Fath and al-Wafaq in Sawan area in Bani Hashish district, Malhaq Aamad in Sanhan district.”

Director of the Crescent Society branch in the province Hussein al-Taweel explained that the construction works to restore and rehabilitate these schools before the inauguration of the new school year so that they can be opened according to the specified program and the return of education naturally.
