The Yemeni News Agency (Saba) inaugurated in Sana'a on Saturday the code of conduct and work ethics in its main center and offices in the provinces.
At the inauguration, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors - Deputy Editor-in-Chief Muhammad Al-Sharei stressed the importance of applying the Code of Conduct in practice by the workers in the press, administrative and technical departments of the Agency.
"We rely on the Code to bring about a quantum leap in work, journalistic and administrative performance, and commitment to perform tasks to the fullest, out of a sense of the responsibility entrusted to everyone," al-Sharei said.
He pointed out that the inauguration of the Code in Saba Agency comes in implementation of the directives of Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi and the President of the Supreme Political Council, and within the plans and directions of the state to organize the administrative relations between the state employees, in a way that serves the citizens.
He explained that the Code aims to link the employees with the ethics and behavior of the public office, stressing the importance of adhering to the rules, principles and values contained in the Code, that were derived from the Holy Qur’an, the Sunnah and the Constitution.
After that, the Code of Conduct form was signed by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors - Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Financial and Commercial Affairs, Hammoud Al-Hashf, and the departments' general managers and employees.
