SANAA, A number of hospitals in Sanaa province on Sunday received medical supplies provided by the World Health Organization (WHO).
September 26 Hospital in Matnah area in Bani Matar district, May 22 hospital in Hamdan district, and Awmarah hospital in Arhab district were received medical supplies provided by the WHO, said health office director in the province Khaled al-Muntaser.
Al-Muntaser emphasized that this medical equipment would reduce the suffering of citizens and they would receive quality services at the district level.
The health office director pointed out the keenness of the Ministry and the province leadership in delivering services to citizens through central and rural hospitals.
Al-Muntaser appreciated the World Health Organization’s continued support for the health sector in the province in terms of infrastructure and rehabilitation of hospitals.
He affirmed that the foundation stone will be laid for a number of projects on the occasion of the revolutions of Yemen, September 21, September 26, and October 14, at a cost of $ 3,357,000.
