Sana’a: Officials from the Capital Sana’a, including the head of the Social Affairs Committee and the Undersecretary for the Works Sector, inspected on Monday the progress of a crucial rainwater drainage channel project in Al-Wahda District.

According to Yemen News Agency, funded by the Yemen Gas Company, the 240-meter-long channel is being constructed to mitigate flood risks in the area. Currently 40% complete, the project is expected to significantly improve infrastructure and community safety.

Officials emphasized the importance of timely completion and urged the project team to expedite construction while adhering to strict engineering specifications. They commended the Yemen Gas Company for its support of this vital community development initiative.
