RIYADH-- Saudi Arabian air forces has intercepted a missile fired by Houthi militias towards border city Najran, Al Arabiya news reported.
The missile was destroyed at 8:40 p.m. local time Monday after entering Saudi Arabia. The incident was part of many attacks against various cities of the kingdom, mainly in border areas.
The country has been the target of Houthi missiles since the Saudi-led Arab coalition intervened in Yemen's conflict in March 2015 to roll back Iran-allied Houthi rebels and reinstate exiled government of President Abdu-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
