Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) Ebrahim al-Hamli met here on Thursday with Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs "OCHA" Sajjad Sajid.
During the meeting, al-Hamli and Sajid reviewed the humanitarian situation in Yemen amid the continued blockade and the detention of fuel ships by the aggression.
In the meeting, al-Hamli pointed out the importance of the role of the international and humanitarian organizations in alleviating the humanitarian crisis the Yemeni people are experiencing due to the aggression and siege.
For his part, Sajid expressed his understanding of the humanitarian situation in Yemen, praising the role of the SCMCHA in facilitating the work of the organizations operating in Yemen.
