Minister of Telecommunications, Mohammad Shoucair, on Friday held talks with Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Najeeb Mansour Al-Ouj, over the means to develop the bilateral economic ties.

Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Shoucair indicated that the pair agreed to hold an extended economic meeting in Beirut between the private sectors in Yemen and Lebanon in upcoming September.

For his part, Minister Al-Ouj heaped praise on the brotherly relations between Yemen and Lebanon, as well as on the role the Lebanese private sector is playing inside and outside Lebanon.

Al-Ouj came accompanied by Yemeni Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdullah Abdulkrim A-Doais.
