Shura Council condemns Zionist Minister of Internal Security’s incursion into courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Shura Council strongly condemned the Zionist extremist Minister of Internal Security, Itamar bin Gvir, storming the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy guard and extensive deployment of the Zionist occupation forces.

In a statement issued today, Wednesday, the Council considered this step a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the holy places in Al-Aqsa, a dangerous escalation and provocation of the feelings of millions of Muslims in Palestine and the world.

The statement stressed that the Zionist enemy entity's aggressive practices come as a result of the submissiveness and shameful normalization of a number of countries with the usurper entity, noting that the continuous American cover has given it the audacity to commit such aggressive acts against the Islamic sanctities in Palestine.

The statement called on the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the United Nations and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to condemn this crime and put an end to these Zionist practices that Netanyahu's extremist government is pursuing, which threatens to explode the situation in the region.

It also called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and all the free people of the world to express their anger and denunciation of all the crimes of Israeli occupation and to support the choices of the Palestinian people and the axis of resistance in deterring the usurper entity and ending the occupation.

The statement denounced the repeated Zionist attacks on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic and the targeting of its international airports and infrastructure in flagrant violation of United Nations charters.

It also stressed that the right of the Syrian people and the axis of resistance to respond to these Zionist attacks is guaranteed in all divine laws and international covenants.
