HAJJAH, Social Solidarity Foundation for Development (SSFD) organized on Tuesday a mid-term workshop on a food security and agriculture project in Mabian and Bani Qais districts in Hajjah province.
Funded by BMZ and supervised by Vision Hope International (VHI), the workshop aims to present beneficiaries an idea of the food security and agriculture project in the province.
With the presence of VHI Country Representative Mohammed al-Baihani, Hajjah province undersecretary Mohammed al-Qadi referred to the general orientation to secure food security and support activities that guarantee the cultivation of all land.
He indicated that the Yemeni people face a battle related to the agricultural aspect, expressing his hope that the project will have an effect on motivating everyone in the province.
Al-Qadi urged the VHI to continue supporting the agricultural field, at the same time calling on farmers to reclaim land to agriculture use.
