Telecommunications projects at 4.5 bln riyals cost inaugurated in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs Dr. Hussein Maqbouli and Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Mesfer al-Numair on Sunday laid the foundation stone for telecommunication and Internet projects in Hodeidah province at a cost of 4.5 billion riyals.

During the inauguration of the projects, Dr. Maqbouli and al-Numair listen to an explanation from Director General of the Telecommunications Corporation Branch in Hodeida Ali Makki about the new projects that have been opened.

Dr. Maqbouli confirmed that the political leadership gives great importance to the telecommunications and internet sector and seeks to develop and modernize it to cope with the global advancement in this field.
