SANAA, Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahab al-Durrah on Thursday reassured the people on the stability of the food supplies and the ration situation in the capital Sanaa and the rest of the province.
Al-Durrah pointed out that the basic and food items are available in sufficient quantities to meet the needs of citizens for a period of six months.
During his visit to a number of markets and shops in the capital, Sanaa, Al-Durra indicated that the ration supply situation is stable and reassuring.
He pointed out that the Ministry's internal trade sector and its offices will implement strict control operations on the markets in cooperation with local councils and competent agencies to prevent any manipulation or concealment of any quantities for the purpose of monopoly.
The Minister called on citizens to feel safe and not to be afraid, as the outlets are open for commercial and pharmaceutical shipments, and locomotives loaded with foodstuffs and goods of all kinds.
