RIYADH, Saudi Arabia- Three children were injured, in border shelling from Yemen, which targeted the province of Jazan, last night.
The Iran-backed Houthi militias, deliberately launched projectiles on civilians in Al-Aradhah, said Official Spokesman of the Coalition forces, in Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki Al-Malki, pointing out that, the shelling happened at 09:15 PM.
He identified the injured children as Ziyad Qassem Suleiman Atifi, and Nasser Hassan Atifi and Abdullah Jaber Atifi, both aged five.
The first child sustained serious injuries, while the other boys suffered minor wounds, said Colonel Al-Malki, in a statement.
He slammed the Iran-backed Houthi militias which, he said, continue flagrant violation of all norms and principles of international humanitarian law, and its customary rules, particularly pertaining to the targeting of civilians and properties, as contained in articles 51 and 52.
