The General Administration of Traffic Police on Monday inaugurated the code of professional conduct in the administration office and its branches.

Director General of the Traffic Police Brig. Bakil al-Barashi stated that the inauguration of the Code of Conduct comes in light of the directives of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior emanating from the national vision to build an institutional state that evaluates duties and safeguards rights.

Al-Barashi pointed out that the Code is based on basic references, “the Holy Qur’an, the Prophet’s approach, the directives of the leader of the revolution, the constitution, and the laws and regulations in force,” noting that it will be a basic nucleus for building state institutions and a main means for improving the performance of the public function, providing public service to the citizen, and strengthening the rule of law.
