Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) received a total of 2,344 complaints during 3rd quarter 2023 related to telecommunication and post services, compared to 1,677 grievances during the 2nd quarter of the same year, TRC said in a press statement on Thursday. TRC added that 1, 395 complaints related to Internet services, 895 on mobile phone services, 35 for landline subscriptions, 19 for postal services. 2,090 complaints were addressed with a processing rate of 89% and work is underway to solve grievances that are still being followed up with the relevant authorities, TRC statement noted. TRC receives complaints and follows them up through the toll-free number (117000), or e-mail ([email protected]), or its Facebook account, or on "X" platform/ Additionally, grievances can be submitted to TRC's website directly, which is linked to the automated system operated for this purpose, or in person.
