WASHINGTON, US air strikes in Yemen, between Nov and Dec, resulted in the death of three senior Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leaders, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.

The air strikes were a part of counter-terrorism operations, targeting the group, conducted in coordination with the Yemeni government, read a statement by the US military's Central Command (CENTCOM).

The operatives included external operations facilitator, Miqdad Al-Sana'ani, who was killed on Dec 15, in Al-Bayda governorate; deputy arms facilitator, Habib Al Sana'ani, killed on Dec 19, in Marib; and Dawah committee member, Abu Umar Al Sana'ani, killed on Nov 20, in Al Bayda.
