Discussing the latest developments in Yemen was the focus of a meeting held late Thursday between visiting UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed and Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Youssef Bin Alawi.
The meeting also included delegations of General People's Congress and Ansarullah movement, Oman News Agency reported.
According to the agency, the UN-brokered negotiations currently hosted by Kuwait and the latest situations in Yemen were also discussed during the meetings.
The conferees further dealt with efforts exerted so as to achieve peace in Yemen.
Meetings come within the framework of Oman's continued endeavors seeking to support the UN efforts in order to solve Yemen's crisis, it noted.
Ould Cheikh Ahmed and the two delegations of Yemeni parties arrived in Salalah earlier today on a three-day visit.
