The Yemeni Petroleum Company on Tuesday said that the US-Saudi aggression coalition seized two petrol ships despite being inspected and obtaining entry permits from the United Nations.

The company's spokesman Issam Al-Mutawakel told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the US-led aggression coalition, in partnership with the United Nations, continues to violate the temporary truce by seizing the two petrol ships "Super Emerald and Ocean Automen", which have been inspected and given entry permits to the port of Hodeida.

Al-Mutawakel noted that the number of fuel ships detained by the aggression coalition reached 12. He explained that "the aggression coalition and its mercenaries deliberately, through their arbitrary practices in piracy on fuel ships, evade the implementation of the provisions of the temporary truce to further increase the suffering of the Yemeni people.

He stressed that "the complicity of the United Nations and its shameful silence regarding the intransigence of the aggression coalition and its continuation of restricting the Yemeni people in the aspects of living, has become open and clear."

The spokesman held the aggression forces and the United Nations fully responsible for the humanitarian and economic repercussions of piracy, the continuation of the siege and the detention of oil derivatives ships.
