The leadership of the Committee for Activating Associations and Desert Cultivation in Al-Hodeida province inspected the agricultural activity in Al-Marawi'aDirectorate, within framework of stimulating and developing work on agricultural front.

The head of the committee, Abdullah Al-Marwani, was briefed on the first experience of soybean cultivation in some of the agricultural fields in the directorate and the methods of cultivating it within the framework of the trend to encourage and develop agricultural initiatives to achieve self-sufficiency.

Al-Marwani noted that the land of Tihama is promising in supporting food security with its good soil.

He noted that the Committee for Activating Associations and Desert Cultivation in Al-Hodeida provincecontributed a positive role during the last period in adopting a number of agricultural projects.
