The National Committee for Women condemned the crime of burning a copy of the Holy Qur'an in Sweden.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the committee indicated that crime confirms the moral failure of Western governments and the falsity of their claims.
The statement stressed that the Swedish authorities allowed extremists to burn copies of the Holy Qur’an and tear it apart on the Muslim holiday, an explicit call for hostility, violence and igniting strife.
The committee renewed the call to boycott Swedish products and goods in support of Holy Qur’an as a result of the repeated abuses of Islamic sanctities... calling on the Islamic nation to take serious stances towards those violations that cannot be accepted.
