SANAA, An official source at the Foreign Ministry on Saturday welcomed the decision of the German government to extend the freeze on arms sales to Saudi Arabia for another six months.

The official added that decision was taken despite pressure from France and Britain, where their arms exports to Saudi Arabia are obstructed because of the need for some German spare parts.

The source called on the countries that continue to supply the countries of aggression with weapons to review their military relations with them as these weapons are used to kill the Yemeni people and destroy their capabilities.

The source stressed that the countries of aggression led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates always keep their worst records in the field of human rights, committing in daily basis a systematic war crimes against civilians in Yemen and their objects , the latest of which was the attack launched on Tuesday March 26 in front of the gate of Kitaf hospital in Saada and that resulted in the killing and wounding dozens, including children.
