Yemeni Ambassador to Iran meets ambassadors of Latin American nations

SANAA, Yemeni Ambassador to Iran Ibrahim Mohammad al-Dailami met on Tuesday with ambassadors of Latin American nations accredited to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At the meeting, the ambassadors al-Dailami discussed with ambassador of the countries of Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay the latest developments in the humanitarian and political situation in Yemen.

Al-Dailami called on ambassadors of these nations to take positive positions in international forums to work for backing the relief side and brief the member states of the Human Rights Council on the humanitarian situation's nature in Yemen.

The ambassador affirmed that Yemen opens all initiatives for a political solution, calling the ambassadors to support the initiative announced by the president Mahdi al-Mashat aimed at ending the war and achieving peace.

Meanwhile, the ambassadors of Latin American nations affirmed they would be with the options the lead to stop the war, alleviate human suffering and back the political settlement and the unity and stability of Yemen.
