YEMENI GOVERNMENT TO LAUNCH LAST OFFENSIVE TO LIBERATE REMAINING REGIONS UNDER REBEL CONTROL

The Yemeni government announced today that, it was contacting political and tribal forces inside the country, to launch military operations, to liberate remaining regions currently under rebels' control.

In this context, General Ali Mohsen Saleh, Vice President of Yemen, discussed, during a meeting in Hadramout, with military and civil leaders, the efforts being exerted to contact with the civil and military forces inside Yemen, to pave the way for liberating the remaining regions, currently under control of the Houthi militias and forces loyal to deposed president, Ali Abdullah Salih.

The military leaders include Mohamed Naji Al-Shayef, Advisor to the President; Othman Hussein Majalli, Minister of State for the House of Representative and Shura Council Affairs; and Major General Saqheer Aziz, Deputy Chief of Staff for Training Affairs and others.
