Yemeni Foreign Minister, Abdulmalek Al-Mekhlafi, said Sunday, the legitimate government was keen on maintaining peace nationwide.
The Yemeni government has been engaged in peace talks for more than five weeks in Kuwait, along with Ansarullah and the General Congress delegations, Mekhlafi told reporters, on the sidelines of the 16th Doha Forum.
He expressed "weak optimism ... because the other party does not have the final say on all issues.
"We will return to the talks in compliance with a mediation by Qatar and Kuwait, and in line with pledges by the UN.
We hope to reach an agreement but we affirm that this is the final chance," he said.
Mekhlafi said, Ansrullah and the General Congress, failed to respect UN resolution 2216, the GCC initiative and its implementation mechanism, nor the outcome of the national dialogue
