Sanaa:The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has asserted that the Yemeni people are determined and resilient in their ongoing conflict with Saudi Arabia. He emphasized their strength and readiness to confront the Saudi enemy, regardless of the war's duration.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sayyid al-Houthi addressed concerns over the Bab al-Mandab region, questioning the international community's lack of sensitivity toward the Saudi actions that have turned the area into a war zone. He highlighted the threat posed to international navigation by these developments.
He further criticized the Saudi regime for its continued aggression and blockade on Yemen, claiming it has resulted in significant losses for Saudi Arabia, particularly in terms of oil exports and damage to facilities. Sayyid al-Houthi praised the Yemeni armed forces for their effective military response since the conflict began in 2015, noting their ability to inflict heavy losses on Saudi forces.
He condemned Saudi Arabia's actions as unjustified and advised other nations against aligning with Saudi aggression, citing negative consequences for those who do, such as former Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. He also addressed Qatar, advising a reevaluation of its ties with Saudi Arabia, given past hostilities.
Emphasizing Yemen's sovereignty over Bab al-Mandab, Sayyid al-Houthi pointed out that attempts to restore foreign control are unwarranted. He declared that Yemen's national sovereignty extends over its territory, as recognized by international norms.
The Yemeni leader urged support for the Palestinian cause, criticizing Saudi Arabia for not leveraging its resources to aid Palestinians. He encouraged the Yemeni people to participate in a mass demonstration to affirm their solidarity with Palestine and opposition to Saudi and Zionist conspiracies.
Sayyid al-Houthi concluded by expressing readiness to support Palestine in any future escalation with Israel, underscoring the Yemeni people's steadfast position against aggression and their commitment to defending Islamic sanctities.
