The Ministry of Oil and Minerals and the Yemen Gas Company in Sana'a held Safer Company for Production and Exploration Operations fully responsible for accidents and explosions caused by the failure to add the material of the two vehicles to the domestic gas.

The Yemen Gas Company indicated in a statement received by (Saba) that it received many complaints about the lack of the "smell" substance that is added to the gas, which led to accidents and explosions in a number of governorates.

The Yemen Gas Company expressed its deep regret that Safer Company did not respond to these correspondences, which were officially made.

The statement stressed that the Yemen Gas Company in Sana'a requires the addition of the two components to the imported gas intended for factories, major consumers, cars and restaurants.

The statement also confirmed that the company disclaims its responsibility for accidents caused by the failure to add the material of the two components to the gas produced locally from Safer.
