SANAA, The Yemeni Media Union (YMU) mourned Abdullah Askar Mujali, the cameraman of Al-Masirah Satellite channel, who was martyred while he was performing the media duty to cover liberation and independence battles.
The YMU commended in a statement the martyr Mujali and his contributions for covering many battles of the army and the popular committees at a number of fronts, especially in Jawf province.
The martyr was considered one of the dozens of media professionals in the war media who have been martyred, while they were performing their professional media duty.
The statement denounced the constantly targeting the media professionals and media organizations.
The statement emphasized the continuation of monitoring violations carried out by the US-Saudi aggression coalition against the media sector.
The statement underlined the importance of pursuing the aggression coalition at courts in accordance with international laws and covenants that guarantee human rights in life and protect media professionals.
Abdullah Askar Mugali, a cameraman working for Al-Masirah TV, was killed in Jawf province, northern Yemen.
