A 21-year-old Palestinian youth succumbed on Saturday morning to his wounds three weeks after suffering from a serious head injury following an Israeli raid on Al-Aqsa mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
At the time of his injury, Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, and Al-Sharif was one of 57 Palestinians injured during the brutal attacks on worshippers.
During Ramadan, thousands of Palestinians challenged Israeli restrictive and repressive measures, making their way to Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray.
