Youth Deputy Minister Launches Initiative to Enhance Communication with Sports Community

Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabih Nasser launched on Tuesday the 'Open Day' initiative for direct communication with youth and athletes, in the presence of several sector undersecretaries, general directors, and ministry staff.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, the Deputy Minister listened to complaints and proposals from a number of athletes and beneficiaries of the ministry's services. These discussions centered around sports and youth activities, the need for improved performance in clubs and federations, and strategies to overcome the challenges they face.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that the initiative is a response to directives from the political leadership and government aimed at strengthening transparency and integrity in administrative and field work. He emphasized the ministry's commitment to establishing direct and continuous communication channels with the youth and sports community, ensuring the swift handling of grievances, addressing shortcomings, and benefiting from constructive suggestions that contribute to improving the youth and sports sector.

Nasser directed the concerned ministry sectors to promptly respond to submitted requests and provide effective solutions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. He noted that the meetings will be held weekly to ensure sustained communication and achieve fairness and justice for all members of the youth and sports sector.
