Minister of Youth and Sports Mohamed Hussein al-Mu’ayyadi, blessed the broad victory of the national youth team over his counterpart Guam by 10 goals in Friday’s third round of the Asian qualifiers.

The Minister al-Mu’ayyadi congratulated the players, who provided a level that enabled them to continue competing for the abduction of the AFC Finals qualification card. Commending the role of the technical staff and players in the supervised appearance and raising of the Yemeni flag in international forums despite the harsh conditions.

He urged the players to make redoubled efforts in the crucial and fateful match against the Japanese team, which takes place tomorrow Sunday.

Expressing everyone’s confidence in the potential of the players and their ability to achieve a new achievement of the Yemeni sport, by coming out with a positive result against the Japanese team, the happiness of the Yemeni fans and the achievement of the qualification card for the Asian finals despite the strength of the competitor and the potential differences.
