Youth Minister & capital city mayor inspect scouting campaign progress to assist traffic policemen

Youth and Sports Minister in the caretaker government, Muhammad Al-Muaydi, and the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Amanat Al-Asimah, Amin Jamaan, inspected the progress of the scout campaign to assist traffic policemen, implemented by the Amanat Al-Asimah Scouts Commission, at the beginning of its ninth consecutive voluntary campaign to serve the community. The campaign to help the traffic police witnesses the participation of 100 scouts and scout leaders distributed at various intersections and roundabouts in the capital, Sana'a, which witnesses traffic jams during the holy month. The young scouts stand alongside the traffic police to facilitate traffic and reduce the burden of congestion on citizens. Minister Al-Muaydi appreciated the keenness of the Secretariat Scout Commission to implement these campaigns for the ninth year in a row, out of its belief in its societal role. He wished success to the youth of the Scout Movement in their ninth campaign. Minister Al-Muaydi and Jamaan, along with t he Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth for the Sports Sector, Ali Hadban, the Commissioner-General of Scouting, Director of the Youth Office in the secretariat, Abdullah Obaid, and the Commissioner of Scouts, the secretariat, Ali Shamlan, visited a number of rounds and intersections where youth scouts are present.
