Youth and Sports Minister, Mohamed Hussein Al-Moaydi, met on Tuesday with the technical, administrative staff and the national football youth team players.
The national team, led by national coach Mohammed Al-Badani and his assistant Haitham Al-Asbahi, is participating in an internal camp at the Youth Hostel in the capital, Sana’a.
In preparation for the Asian Junior Cup finals, which will be launched next May, and its competitions will be hosted by Thailand.
Al-Moaydi stressed the Ministry’s keenness to give youth and athletes care, attention and support according to the available capabilities, so that they can develop their capabilities and refine their creative skills.
He stressed the importance of good preparation and entering the current camp with high readiness to achieve the aspirations and hopes of the Yemeni masses.
In turn, the members of the national team confirmed that they will compete in the tournament with the spirit of the champion and will present an honorable performance.
They expressed their happiness at meeting the minister and the leadership of the ministry and the celebration and encouragement they felt.
