SANAA, The Russian foreign ministry has called on US President Donald Trump to fulfill the promise to withdraw US troops from Syria before making any demands on Russia to withdraw from Venezuela.

"It has been announced that the United States will withdraw its troops from Syria, and it has been a full month," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in an interview with Russian Channel 1 on Wednesday night.

"I would like to recommend Trump to fulfill his promises to the international community with such freedom before he tries to determine the fate of other countries," Zakharova said.

The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said that "the United States must apply its concept of withdrawal from other countries and primarily from Syria before giving advice to others to go out."

The Russian Foreign Ministry strongly rejected allegations of " Russian military intervention" in Venezuela, asserting that Russian experts are based in the Latin American country, in accordance with the military-technical cooperation agreement between the two countries and in line with the country's constitution.Russian Foreign Ministry: Trump must fulfill its promises before trying to determine the fate of other countries
