Sana'a: The Colleges of Engineering and Computer Science and Medical Administration at 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences in Sana'a organized a speech event on Saturday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). The event was held to reflect on the life and teachings of the Prophet and to renew love and loyalty to him.
According to Yemen News Agency, University Rector Dr. Mujahid Maesar highlighted the significance of the occasion as an opportunity to remember the noble life of the Prophet Muhammad. Dr. Maesar emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday allows individuals to reflect on his exemplary character, virtues, and qualities, while recognizing his greatness and exalted status before Allah, the angels, and humanity.
Dr. Abdulrahman Obaid, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, urged the attendees to draw spiritual guidance and inspiration from the occasion, reinforcing their love and attachment to the Prophet's teachings. He pointed out that the celebrations symbolize pride, honor, and reverence for the Prophet, encouraging a commitment to follow his path and emulate his noble character.
The event, which was attended by Vice Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Jameel Majali, assistant university presidents, college deans, Secretary-General Abdulkarim Al-Akhali, and numerous students, also featured remarks from a representative of the Student Forum. The representative highlighted the importance of the event in strengthening the connection to the Prophet's teachings, complemented by poetry and religious chants.
