Hajjah: The 22 May team defeated their rivals Shabab Al-Makhlah in the Mawlid al-Nabawi Football Tournament held in Aslam District, Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the match was organized by the local branch of the Youth and Sports Office, under the supervision of the governorate's Youth and Sports Office, with support from the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and the Youth Welfare Fund. The game concluded in a goalless draw, leading to a penalty shootout to determine the winner.
The penalty shootout ended with a 4-3 victory for 22 May, marking their advancement to the semifinals of the tournament. This event featured 16 teams from various areas of the district and attracted a significant number of fans.
