Hodeida: The 24th free eye medical camp has concluded in the al-Zahrah district of Hodeida province, offering essential services to hundreds of residents. The camp ran for six days, organized by the Grameen Yemen Foundation in coordination with local health authorities, and provided examinations and consultations to 1,000 patients from the al-Ma'ras area and surrounding regions.
According to Yemen News Agency, camp director Nasr al-Dabab reported that 391 surgeries for cataract removal and lens implantation were successfully conducted. Additionally, the camp distributed free medications to patients, ensuring comprehensive eye care for those in need.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to provide free medical aid, with previous campaigns having completed over 7,470 free surgeries for patients requiring eye care.
