Sana'a: The local authority and General Mobilization in Hodeida governorate on Monday welcomed 53 released prisoners, members of the Armed Forces from the governorate, following their release from prisons run by the aggression and its mercenaries on the western coast fronts.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the welcoming ceremony, Director of the Ministry of Defense's Social Welfare Department in the governorate, Colonel Abdul Rahman Basha, expressed pride at the return of the released prisoners to their families, considering their release a fruit of the steadfastness and sacrifices they made on various confrontation fronts. He congratulated the released prisoners on returning to their families with their heads held high after enduring a period of suffering and patience in enemy prisons, noting that their steadfastness and patience in the face of violations inside mercenary detention centers demonstrated to the world the sincerity of their faith and the justice of their cause.
For his part, Head of the Scholars Unit in the governorate, Sheikh Ali Soumal, praised the prisoners' steadfastness and resilience in confronting the conditions of detention, stressing that welcoming them embodies loyalty to their sacrifices and what they have given for the sake of the homeland. He affirmed that the prisoners' firm resolve behind bars represented a genuine extension of the culture of the Quran and the strength of faith that shattered the calculations of the forces of aggression and mercenarism, turning their ordeal into a symbol of triumph, victory, and dignity.
Meanwhile, Director of Al-Mina District Abdullah Al-Hadi said the sacrifices of these heroes would remain a badge of honor and pride in the hearts of the people of Tihama and Yemen as a whole. He noted that the prisoners' steadfastness throughout their captivity reflected their firm faith in the justice of their cause and their certainty of victory. He congratulated the victories achieved by the Armed Forces on the western coast fronts, the defeat of the military mobilizations of the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries, the liberation of occupied areas, and the flight of mercenary elements, culminating in the release of the prisoners and their return to their families.
In his remarks on behalf of the scholars, Mohammed Balghaith highlighted the greatness of the giving, devotion, and sacrifice demonstrated by the released prisoners, stressing that patience and steadfastness are the path to achieving manifest victory. He congratulated the families of the released prisoners and the people of the governorate on this joyful occasion.
The released prisoners expressed their happiness at returning to their families, affirming that the warm reception and hospitality they received embodied appreciation for their sacrifices.
