Sana'a: The head of the national delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, affirmed that the Yemeni people, in their support for Gaza, have not forgotten their internal struggle and their rights resulting from the Saudi aggression and the ongoing blockade of Sana'a International Airport. In a tweet today on the "X" platform, Mohammed Abdul Salam stressed that there is no justification for keeping Sana'a Airport closed to air traffic. He expressed hope that the new year would be a year of goodness, victory, and success for the Yemeni people, the Palestinian people, and the entire Islamic nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdul Salam emphasized that despite a year filled with challenges and sacrifices, new challenges and opportunities lie ahead, especially concerning the Palestinian axis. He highlighted the ongoing struggle against the Israeli enemy, asserting that any weakness or humiliation before adversaries like Israel and America would result in inevitable loss.
He also pointed out the severe impact of the blockade imposed on Yemeni airports and seaports, describing it as collective punishment with devastating humanitarian consequences for Yemeni society. Abdul Salam added that the blockade is a significant barrier to humanitarian and political solutions.
Furthermore, Abdul Salam noted the emergence of Saudi Arabia as the sole power broker following the end of the coalition as a significant development from the past year. He argued that reliance on the continuation of aggression and the blockade has proven unsuccessful, urging a rational approach to address the issues resulting from the Saudi-American aggression endured by Yemen over the years.
