Hajjah: Abu Abdel team has successfully qualified for the final of the Martyr Leader Football Championship in Hajjah. The tournament is organized by the Hajjah branch of the Game Federation in coordination with the General Mobilization and under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in the province.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abu Abdel’s advancement came after a decisive victory over Shabab Al-Gharib team, concluding with a 7-1 scoreline. The goals for Abu Abdel were scored by Bassam Qadish and Ibrahim Sharaf Al-Din, who each netted twice, along with contributions from Mohammed Al-Hamdani, Asim Al-Turabi, and Haitham Al-Yemeni. Shabab Al-Gharib’s sole goal came from Ashraf Mohammed Al-Nashri via a penalty kick.
In an upcoming match, Al Fajr and Shabab Tihama will compete to determine who will face Abu Abdel in the final. The match that secured Abu Abdel’s qualification was overseen by tournament director Amer Al-Shatbi and officiated by referees Khalid Al-Awami, Abdullah Al-Shater, Mustafa Al-Ghalbi, and Mujahid Al-Qaili.
