Hajjah: Abu Abdel team claimed victory in the Martyr Leader Football Championship held in the center of Hajjah province. The tournament, organized by the Game Federation branch with the General Mobilization and under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office, concluded with Abu Abdel’s 3-0 win against Al-Fajr team in the final match at Al-Alfi Stadium in Al-Hodeida.
According to Yemen News Agency, the match saw Abu Abdel leading 2-0 by halftime, thanks to goals from Mohammed Al-Hamdani and Asim Al-Turabi. The team further secured their victory with a third goal scored by Ibrahim Sharafuddin in the second half. The game was officiated by referees Samir Al-Nafish, Akram Al-Shatbi, and assistant Murshid Jazilan.
Post-match, Murad Shali, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, extended his congratulations to the winners and commended the level of competition displayed. He emphasized the significance of such tournaments in preserving the legacy of the martyr leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi and promoting the Qur’anic project that opposes global domination efforts.
