Sana'a: Abyan Governor Saleh Al-Junaidi affirmed that any attempts to return the southern provinces to the pre-October 14 Revolution era are a red line. Al-Junaidi explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the current developments in the southern provinces indicate that British colonialism is working to reactivate its regional and local tools to revive projects of division, fragmentation, and to impose the same abhorrent colonial agendas that collapsed with its downfall 62 years ago.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Junaidi described the October 14 Revolution, which sparked from the mountains of Radfan on this glorious day, as an exceptional event that changed the course of history in the southern part of the homeland. Through it, the Yemeni people ended 129 years of British tyranny and domination in southern Yemen, overthrowing all the conspiratorial schemes established by the colonizers over decades.
The governor pointed out that all calculations of the new occupation in the southern provinces are mistaken, stressing that the ongoing practices in those areas - the destruction of national assets and the division of resources - confirm that the prevailing occupation over the past years is merely an extension of the despised British colonialism.
He added, 'Our Yemeni people today are stronger than ever, despite the divisions caused by the Saudi, Emirati, and American aggression. The capabilities of our armed forces, which have imposed new military equations at the maritime and aerial levels, have shattered American arrogance in the Red Sea and established an unprecedented deterrence formula in the history of the Arab-Zionist conflict through their support operations for Gaza. These capabilities are sufficient to defeat the new occupation and eliminate all colonial projects.'
Governor Al-Junaidi also affirmed that all movements of the Saudi and Emirati enemies in the occupied provinces are being closely monitored by the free national forces, and that any scenario aimed at reviving colonial ambitions and agendas is doomed to fail.
