Abyan:Abyan governor Saleh Al-Junaidi has urged residents to avoid recruitment drives organized by Saudi Arabia across the southern governorates, emphasizing the need to protect their lives and safety.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Junaidi called on residents not to respond to the Saudi recruitment efforts, advising them to steer clear of the enemy's camps in the governorate and to return to their villages. He emphasized that these camps, led by Saudi officers, remain legitimate targets for the Yemeni Armed Forces, and avoiding them is crucial to prevent recruits from becoming victims of the ongoing conflict.
Al-Junaidi also urged the youth of Abyan to reject recruitment efforts orchestrated by those serving the Saudi agenda in the region. He highlighted the preciousness of Abyan's residents' lives and condemned the Saudi enemy for sending the governorate's youth to their deaths on various fronts.
He further criticized the Saudi occupiers for targeting unarmed civilians and exhausting southern youth on multiple fronts, including the western coast, Al-Jawf, and Marib. The governor called on tribal leaders, religious figures, and other influential community members to resist the recruitment conspiracy and protect their sons from becoming cannon fodder in a war led by Saudi Arabia on behalf of the United States and Israel.
Al-Junaidi noted that the leadership under Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi has affirmed that residents in the southern and eastern governorates are not targets and urged them to avoid involvement in the conflict. He reiterated the Yemeni Armed Forces' commitment to lifting the blockade and confronting the Saudi enemy's military mobilization until aggression ends, rights are secured, and national resources are reclaimed.
