Al-Dhale:The Acting Governor of Al-Dhale, Abdul Latif Al-Shagdari, inspected the progress of work and performance at the Al-Arfaf crossing on the Damt-Maris Road in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shagdari was briefed on the implementation of control procedures at the crossing, the challenges facing the workflow, and strategies to address these issues to prevent smuggling and seize violations.
During his visit, Al-Shagdari honored the anti-smuggling unit members for their efforts in combating smuggling and their vigilance in seizing contraband and smuggled goods.
The Acting Governor emphasized the importance of preparedness and vigilance at the crossing and called for enhanced coordination among security and regulatory agencies to curb smuggling operations. Additionally, he highlighted the need for treating travelers with dignity and increasing security awareness.
