Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah on Monday inspected several development and service projects underway in the capital Sana'a, with a total cost of 900 million riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, Miftah, accompanied by Capital Mayor Hammoud Obad and senior local officials, reviewed progress on the rehabilitation of Khawlan Street in al-Sabeen district. This 400-million-riyal project includes a 1,200-square-meter concrete surface bridge and extensive road repairs.
The delegation also inspected phase two of the Dahban entrance expansion in Bani al-Harith district. This locally funded project, costing 70 million riyals, has reached 90 percent completion.
In addition, they reviewed the 406-million-riyal community-funded project aimed at completing the rainwater drainage canal and rehabilitating several streets in Bani al-Harith.
Miftah emphasized the need to accelerate work before the rainy season and pointed out the environmental and service benefits of the projects. He praised ongoing community initiatives and local authority efforts to improve infrastructure across the capital.
