Sana'a: The Acting Prime Minister, Scholar Mohammed Muftah, today inaugurated the transfer examinations for both the basic and secondary stages, involving nearly six million male and female students across schools in the Republic. Muftah, accompanied by Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hatim Al-Duais, and First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat Khaled Al-Madani, inspected the progress of the exams at 'Tareem Boys School' and 'Martyr Al-Ahmar Girls School.'
According to Yemen News Agency, they were briefed by the Undersecretary for the Basic Education Sector, Hadi Ammar, and the Head of the Education Sector in the Secretariat, Abdul Qadir Al-Mahdi, on the efforts made to launch the exams and provide an appropriate atmosphere for students to perform them. During the inauguration, Scholar Muftah praised the level of discipline observed in the visited schools, stating that the calmness of the committees reflects the order and educational performance in the schools.
He commended the efforts of teachers and educators involved in administering the exams. Muftah noted, "We were honored today to visit our students, accompanied by Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, in his first public appearance since leaving the hospital to resume his duties. We thank God for the minister's recovery, as well as for the recovery of his fellow ministers who are gradually returning to their posts."
Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Al-Duais emphasized the importance of the exams in measuring students' academic achievement. He praised the efforts of teachers and educational staff in ensuring the success of both the examination process and the educational process as a whole. Dr. Al-Duais called on parents to provide a suitable environment for their children to study and review their lessons. He urged students to focus carefully when reading exam questions and to contemplate their answers thoroughly in order to achieve top results.
