Aggression Aircraft Target Multiple Yemeni Provinces on April 21 Over the Years


Sana’a: On April 21, multiple Yemeni provinces have faced severe aggression over the years, with the aircraft of a US-Saudi-Emirati coalition launching airstrikes that targeted residential neighborhoods, vital facilities, roads, bridges, and paramedics. These attacks have resulted in the deaths of dozens of citizens and widespread destruction.

According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression began on April 21, 2015, when 14 citizens were killed and 80 others injured following airstrikes on Haradh in Hajjah province. The attacks also damaged Midi port and several camps. In Ibb province, 20 citizens lost their lives, and 16 were injured due to airstrikes on Al-Dalil bridge on the Sana’a road. In Saada province, an entire family was killed in an airstrike on Al-Habajer village, while 14 others, including 13 Ethiopians, were injured in Sahar district. Additional airstrikes targeted infrastructure and security forces in Taiz province.

On April 21, 2016, airstrikes continued, with attacks on Al-Wathabat in Marib pr
ovince and artillery shelling by mercenaries in Taiz and Al-Jawf provinces. These attacks caused damage to homes, farms, and infrastructure across various regions.

The following year, on April 21, 2017, the aggression claimed the lives of five citizens, including women and children, in Al-Jawf province. Airstrikes on Al-Barah bridge in Taiz province resulted in further casualties. Marib province witnessed a cluster bomb attack, while other areas experienced significant airstrikes and artillery shelling.

The pattern of aggression persisted on April 21, 2018, with Saudi rocket shelling injuring citizens in Saada province. Airstrikes targeted farms and infrastructure across Hajjah, Taiz, Al-Jawf, Lahj, and Al-Hodeida provinces, causing extensive damage.

On April 21, 2019, the aggression continued with rocket and artillery shelling in Al-Hodeida and Saada provinces, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in these areas.

In 2020, the aggression’s aircraft launched multiple airstrikes across Marib, Al-Jaw
f, and Sana’a provinces, with mercenaries targeting areas in Al-Hodeida with artillery shelling, causing further devastation.

On April 21, 2021, the aggression intensified with 16 airstrikes in Marib province and additional attacks in Saada and Al-Hodeida provinces, marking another year of relentless aggression.

The aggression persisted on April 21, 2022, with artillery shelling in Al-Hodeida, Marib, and Saada provinces, continuing the cycle of violence and destruction in Yemen.
