According to Yemen News Agency, on February 5, 2016, airstrikes in Hodeida and Marib governorates caused injuries and extensive material damage, including the destruction of homes and a gas station. Additional strikes in Sana’a governorate led to severe damage to agricultural lands and residential properties.
The following year, on February 5, 2017, airstrikes targeted fishermen off the coast of Hodeida, resulting in deaths, injuries, and missing persons. Additional raids on civilian properties across various governorates led to further destruction of infrastructure and personal property, including farms and homes.
On February 5, 2018, airstrikes and artillery shelling continued to inflict casualties and destruction in Sa’ada and Hajjah governorates, causing injuries, deaths, and extensive property damage. The use of cluster bombs also resulted in injuries to children in Hajjah Governorate.
In 2019, hostilities on the same day resulted in injuries to civilians due to intensive artillery shelling and airstrikes in Hodeida and Sa’ada governorates. The attacks led to damage to residential areas and public infrastructure, exacerbating the humanitarian situation.
By 2020, the aggression continued with airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting various districts across multiple governorates, including Sa’ada, Marib, and Hodeida. These actions resulted in deaths, injuries, and significant damage to homes and farms.
On February 5, 2021, further attacks by the coalition, including airstrikes and explosives left from previous conflicts, caused injuries to children in Sa’ada and Marib governorates. The airstrikes and shelling resulted in additional damage to residential and agricultural areas.
In 2022, attacks in Sa’ada governorate by the Saudi army caused casualties among civilians, while airstrikes targeted Sana’a and various districts across multiple governorates, resulting in more destruction of infrastructure and private property.
Most recently, on February 5, 2023, attacks continued with injuries reported among civilians and African immigrants due to Saudi army fire in Sa’ada governorate. Strikes in Hodeida governorate resulted in further damage and the creation of combat fortifications by mercenaries.
