Hodeida: An agreement has been reached between the head of the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums, Ibad al-Hayal, and the Governor of Hodeida, Abdullah Atifi, to partially restore the Historic Finance House building. The decision comes as a response to the partial collapse of a section of the building, which currently serves as the Hodeida branch of the Antiquities Office.

According to Yemen News Agency, the agreement also includes plans to secure the site of the historic Al-Mahjam Mosque and the adjacent cemetery located to the north. This initiative is part of a broader effort to preserve Yemen’s cultural heritage and ensure the safeguarding of significant historical sites.
