Dhamar:A training workshop for AI engineers commenced on Monday at the Center for Training, Studies, Research, and Consulting at Genius University for Science and Technology. The focus of the workshop is on machine design, construction, machine learning, and deep learning.
According to Yemen News Agency, the two-week workshop is part of the "PAEP" professional program for AI engineers, organized by the Center for Technical Education Development and Scientific Research and overseen by the Dhamar Governorate local authority leadership. This initiative is aligned with education development projects aimed at localizing technology and artificial intelligence in Yemen.
Dr. Khaled Al-Husseini, the program supervisor and Advisor to the President of Dhamar University, emphasized that the workshop is a crucial step in advancing professional training and preparing AI engineers. He mentioned that the program has already completed foundational courses in advanced Python programming, Git and GitHub workflows, software engineering, and data engineering.
Dr. Al-Husseini also noted that participants, who have bachelor's degrees in Information Technology, Computer Science, and related disciplines, will gain valuable insights into machine design, machine learning, application development, and deep learning. The initiative aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to apply these technologies practically, enabling them to develop software and digital analytical solutions.
Participants will have the opportunity to work on applications that not only benefit the community but also contribute to national development.
