Sana'a:On October 2, 2015, airstrikes by US-Saudi-Emirati forces led to the deaths of 90 individuals and injuries to many others in Yemen. The attacks targeted areas including Al-Muqni' family market in Munabbih District, Saada Governorate, and affected markets and homes across the region. In Saqain District, a mosque and several homes were destroyed. Airstrikes also damaged infrastructure in Arhab District, Sana'a Governorate, and various locations in Taiz city and Marib Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, In the following year, on October 2, 2016, five fishermen were killed and six injured in an airstrike in the Wahijah area of Al-Mokha District, Taiz Governorate. Airstrikes continued in Sana'a Governorate, damaging homes and telecommunications networks, while similar destruction was reported in Saada and Marib Governorates.
On October 2, 2017, five people were killed and others injured in Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate. Airstrikes in Sana'a and Saada Governorates caused further casualties and damage to property. In Hajjah Governorate, airstrikes targeted districts while artillery and missile attacks were reported in various locations.
By October 2, 2018, airstrikes led to the deaths of a displaced family of three in Hajjah Governorate. Multiple districts in Saada Governorate, including Shada, faced airstrikes and shelling, affecting populated areas.
On October 2, 2019, aggression mercenaries used machine guns and artillery to target areas in Al-Hodeida Governorate, and airstrikes were reported in Saada Governorate. On October 2, 2020, artillery shelling injured two women in Al-Hodeida, and airstrikes continued in Amran and Al-Jawf Governorates, causing damage to homes and farms.
The pattern of violence persisted on October 2, 2021, when artillery shelling killed three people in Saada Governorate. An airstrike in Marib Governorate resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to her children. Airstrikes and reconnaissance aircraft activity were reported in Al-Hodeida Governorate.
On October 2, 2022, reconnaissance aircraft conducted airstrikes in Al-Hodeida and Taiz Governorates. Artillery shelling by mercenaries targeted regions across multiple governorates, leading to further destruction.
Most recently, on October 2, 2023, airstrikes and shelling continued in Taiz and Al-Hodeida Governorates. Mercenaries established combat fortifications and targeted various areas in Al-Hodeida with different types of ammunition.
