Dhamar: Official and tribal efforts led by Dhamar Security Chief Brigadier Mohammed Al-Mahdi and Jahran District Director Hashem Al-Warith have successfully resolved a five-year-old murder dispute within the Al-Awsi family in Jahran District.
According to Yemen News Agency, a tribal gathering held to address the conflict was attended by sheikhs, dignitaries, and social figures. During this meeting, Sheikh Hussein Al-Azab, representing the family of the victim, Taha Najib Al-Awsi, declared a pardon for the perpetrator, Mujeeb Abdulaziz Al-Awsi. The pardon was given in the spirit of seeking Allah's approval and honoring those present at the gathering.
The provincial security chief acknowledged the victim's family for their act of forgiveness and tolerance. He highlighted the importance of the efforts made to resolve the case and reunite the family, emphasizing that pardon and forgiveness, especially when one has the power to retaliate, are considered noble virtues.
Jahran District Director Hashem Al-Warith underscored the significance of fostering a culture of tolerance, brotherhood, and peaceful resolution of social disputes. He called for continuous efforts to enhance reconciliation, security, stability, and social peace within the community.
The attendees at the gathering praised the generous act of pardon, viewing it as a testament to the values of tolerance and the authenticity of Yemeni tribal traditions.
